I know, I know, I've posted a May journal already but this is a catch up one. Did it in March and April so I figured what the hell? Right...yeah.
Anyway, here's what's going on in my life.
1. Tyler went to the science camp and had a wonderful time. It was odd having him gone but it was very good for him. He really had fun. One thing though, his "best" friend annoyed him so much that they are not friends any more. Now another boy is his best friend. His best friend before this last one turned into a real asshole calling him all sorts of names and even hit him a few times. So let's hope this doesn't happen again.
2. Summer is almost here and therefore it's hot already and I don't like it. I know I bitch about the heat every year and I will be doing so this year too. LOL Don't like it? Too BAD!! LOL J/K!!!
3. Tyler will be home schooled next year, I hope. Still working on it. I have great plans though. I am going to make sure he still gets to bed on time and gets up early. Besides doing what the District demands of him he'll also be reading some important [to me anyway] books. Such as Anne Frank, which he already read, but he'll be expected to write a report on it. I'm also having him read "A Child Called It" to some this is a far too mature book for an 11 year old. But I've actually seen kids not much older than him reading the book and they really learned from it. Once again, book report. I'm also going to have him study the history of music and poetry and fine arts. Of course, we'll be learning together, which is really good. Also, we'll be studying Madam Curie. She's my favorite woman of all time. I've already had him study her a bit. Plus he'll have PE everyday which will keep us both fit. I think activity is important. I also want to teach him some sort of craft. I know that's a lot! But when you look at it, the actual work from the school would take him about two to three hours tops. I just have to think of a way for him to be around other kids. He doesn't have any friends in this neighborhood. There's only about four kids. Two are in High School and one is a little girl.
4. I've been working very hard on my charity crochet. If you follow my photos you know that though. I actually sent out a packed full box of toys and purses. BUT I sent it to the WRONG zip code!! Luckily, it made it back to where I wanted it to go. I was so depressed about it. It seems no matter how hard I try my little "good deeds" either backfire or don't work out. For instance, I bought my neighbor a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. She wasn't home all weekend so they started to die and she never got them. But on the other hand, I was at the store on the Friday before Mother's Day and a little boy wanted to buy his mom this statue like thing. He was maybe 7. The mother sent him in to the store [it's very tiny] to get a morning snack. He was looking at this very ugly statue like thing. He asked how much it was and it was more than he had. I went ahead and paid for it. He ran out to the car and gave it to his mom. She started waving at me and I could tell she wanted me to come out. I didn't. I am very shy and that stops me from doing things I would like to do. So, like a chicken, I hid in the store! LOL
5. My nephew will be having his baby this next month...or his g/f will be anyway LOL.
6. I've been cooking a lot of different type of dinners. I found some GREAT cookbooks on Amazon. They are: Back of the Box Recipes, Copy Cat Recipes and a Campbells Soup book. That's my favorite one. I'm really having fun. For a while no body wanted to eat what I cooked and I can't blame them. It was boring!
Ok, that's all. Have a great month all!!!

I mean, what can you even say?
Wlegedly but everything .s open, so who knows? Every time I sneeze or have a scratchy throat I get scared...is that it this time? Which is pretty silly (I hope) because I have terrible allergies both respiratory and in my eyes. There had been days where I couldn't drive even. This leads us to why is my throat so sore. I live in California and last week my town was on fire. I live in a town of about 1100 people so imagine how scary that was. It was the LNU fire. I am pretty sure it's still burning but not badly. The smoke is so thick you can't even see. I was evacuated. While I was evacuated I fell behind in school. Speaking of school, I am caught up. I do not feel like I was given a fair amount of time to catch up. So I am failing a class. I'm taking five full-credit classes this semester. It's rough. In addition to the fire, they are saying we are going to have a PSPS soon. A PSPS is where the power goes out for DAYS. How am I going to keep up! I don't know what is going to happen.
Glaucoma and other funny things
{b}Well, I told you all that I had been at the hospital last week. I found out yesterday that I have Glaucoma. I'm not sure where that leaves me, or what happens now, but I'll cross that bridge when it comes. I haven't really been able to drive much because the sun really hurts my eyes. I have to be in by noon or so. I'm really getting freaking tired of SIP. They have been opening our county. The rate of infection jumped dramatically. But people are starting to get a little crazy so I don't think they will close it back down. People were calling the police on their neighbors for being outside too long. Now businesses are required to not allow people in the their businesses if they aren't wearing masks. Except now the health dept says we don't have to wear one if it not beneficial to their health. And nobody can ask for proof. So now most people just aren't wearing them. I wear them.{b}

That is the title because I think it sounds like some mysterious wild red-lipped flower from Hawaii. Shit has been going down, again. I had to go to the hospital on Wednesday because I've been having extreme pain in my eye to where I can't even drive. I don't even keep the lights on since nobody else is here why? lol So I get to the hospital and they take me in surprisingly quick. They look me over and put all kinds of drops into them and washes and stuff. It was horrible. Finally, they send me home with instructions to go to the doctor's at 3:40 that day. So I get there at about 3:25 and wait until 5:30!!!! I was furious. Anyway, the doctor is pretty sure it's glaucoma. I go back Wednesday for more tests. He said I "could" go blind, but I also "could" win the lottery so who knows what that means??? We'll see Wednesday. I finished the semester on the President's List meaning I have a perfect 4.0 and took 12 or more credits. I took 14. I'm pretty glad about that. I start summer
What an update I have for y'all!
Ok, first off, I sincerely hope you are all well and healthy. Some of you have been my dA friend for years and it's been weighing heavy on my mind that I have not checked in for so long. So, this is me checking in. Please, if you have a minute just let me know that you're ok. Thanks.
So, I finally moved into my own home and it's freaking glorious. It's a big three-bedroom home within walking distance to town which is about 1200 people. I love it. There's a gas station that couldn't hold more than ten people, a tiny grocery, an excellent deli, and what looks like a biker bar. I can walk to all that.
I've worked really hard in school and am a

I read a child called it when I was 13, I still remember a lot of it, but it wasn't traumatizing or anything for me, so it should be fine to read.
